The Health Visitors are qualified nurses with specialist qualifications in community health, this includes child health, health promotion and education. As part of the wider Health Care Team they work closely with GP’s and other services, promoting the health and well-being to meet the changing needs of the local families.
The health visiting team also cover the Kingfisher Surgery, Newport Pagnell.
Health visitors support and educate families from pregnancy through to a child's fifth birthday. Health Visitor know about local services that will help you to build a healthy life for you and your family.
They also deliver the Healthy Child Programme to all families with children under 5 years of age, this includes the following contacts;
Parents are also able to request a home visit from a health visitor if there are concerns they would like to discuss in privacy or in more detail.

Child Health Clinics are held once a week at Lovat Hall. They are run by the health
visiting team and are open for any families with children under 5. Parents can seek
advice on various issues including feeding, colic, constipation, rashes, sleep, behaviour
difficulties, toilet training and teething.
Child health clinics are held on Tuesday
afternoon from 1pm-2.45pm at Lovat Hall, Silver Street, MK16 0EJ
Breast feeding clinics are held every Monday 13:30 - 15:00 at Tickford Children's Centre, Thames Drive, MK16 9DS
