Klinik

What is Klinik?

Klinik Access is an online consultation service and appointment solution for that makes it possible for our patients to contact us from a computer, a smartphone, or a tablet through the GP practice website.

Our reception team also have access to Klinik and if you telephone the practice you will be taken through the same questions and triage system that our online users will experience.

You will almost certainly find is quicker to ask your question online rather than waiting to speak to one of the reception team. 

Do I need any login or credentials for using the service? Do I need to register to be able to use the service?

Using the service does not require login or registration. We have chosen this approach to make the service quick and easy-to-use. The service uses a highly secure one-direction communications connection, which, according to the regulations, does not require strong authentication. 

What can I use Klinik for?

You can use Klinik to seek self-help, request an appointment, request test results, raise enquiries about your medication, request repeat prescriptions and much more.

For some aspects of Klinik, such as requesting repeat medication, you will be directed to your secure SystmOnline account so please ensure you are signed up for that service to make your online experience smoother.

Extended GP Access. Contact Reception

To enable us to be able to look after your care more effectively, and to the best of our capabilities, each of our doctors works with a buddy.  This means they work together and cover each other’s work load when one is away or not available. Working in this way helps with trying to maintain continuity of care for patients and avoids any gaps in your care.

Saturday Consultations

These available for pre-bookable appointments only - this will allow for those who find it difficult to visit their doctor during the week to access a GP at the weekend.

 

If you cannot keep your appointment please let us know in good time so it may be given to someone else.

 Telephone calls may be recorded for quality and training purposes. As with all consultations, confidentiality will be maintained at all times. 

 

 

Texting Appointment Reminders

 

We are now able to text appointment reminders to those that have registered their mobile number with the practice.

 

When a patient books an appointment, a confirmation text will be sent to them. They will also receive a reminder text the day before the appointment.

 

We are hoping that this will reduce the number of missed appointments.  Please help us by ensuring we have your correct mobile number on our system.  You can do this by calling in at the Medical Centre or completing the consent form.
